FASHION WITH A CONSCIENCE

It’s a brave concept, whereby fashion is not merely a design process, but also a kind of therapy: The fashion label PEOPLE BERLIN from Karuna e.V. brings together young people from the streets and professional fashion designers, who produce three collections every year, sewing the pieces and selling them in the online shop. The project is sponsored by terre des hommes and the VW Belegschaftsstiftung, a charitable foundation run by the workforce at Volkswagen.
